this preference uses the printed words as the best way in which they think I learn. I think the results are accurate, as I prefer to Read/Write, also I find talking about it is easier than visualising it and remembering it, the weakest link is the kinaesthetic, I find this more difficult in learning, here are a few strategies which you could follow, Hand-out's and textbook's are a good way to learn, and are more easily remembered than rather seeing a diagram.
Here are my favourite way's to learn aurally. 
  • attend classes
  • attend discussions and tutorials
  • discuss topics with others
  • discuss topics with your teachers
  • explain new ideas to other people
  • use a tape recorder
  • remember the interesting examples, stories, jokes…
  • describe the overheads, pictures and other visuals to somebody who was not there
  • leave spaces in your notes for later recall and ‘filling’
